Great location for Brittany Gites
La Marette is a typical Bretagne longere with outbuildings set in approximately 2 acres of garden and orchard bordered by fields and woodland. Situated close enough to the N12 to be a great advantage to reach airports, ports and cities such as Rennes, but not so close as to be a nuisance. The medieval town of Dinan is only 20 minutes away from Brittany Gites by Jewells, with St Malo port 50 minutes, Dinard airport 30 minutes, Rennes airport 40 minutes and the north coast of Brittany only 45 minutes away.
The local village of Caulnes offers all of the day to day conveniences for your stay in our holiday cottages, supermarket, café, post office, bank, petrol station, bakery etc. So although you will be in the heart of the Brittany countryside, all conveniences are only a stone's throw away.
Outdoor Swimming Pool in nearby Broons
There is a lovely outdoor swimming pool open during summer months at the local village of Broons, which is only a few minutes drive away from the gites.
Outside Your Holiday Cottages
The Brittany gites at La Marette have a lovely orchard area with seating for a leisurely glass of wine along with areas for children or more energetic amongst us, with goal posts, badminton net, trampoline, boule etc. BBQ's are available for guests to cook al fresco. Eat your
al fresco meal in the orchard or on your own private south facing patio area outside your gite.Brittany Gites with a Difference, Catering Available
All of our gites are beautifully equipped for self catering but Brittany Gites by Jewells offer something a little special. In high season we offer a 'plat du jour' ( dish of the day ) every evening of the week ( except Sunday ) which will be prepared by the owners from wonderful local and home produced ingredients and delivered to your gite before 6pm in the evening.
